Anna Liminowicz
Photographer and reportage author based in Warsaw, Poland.
A contributor to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Der Spiegel, The Globe & Mail, and many others. She divides her work between assignments for international press and the development of her long-term personal projects. Social issues are the main focus of her photographic interest. Winner of the Krzysztof Miller Prize for the courage to look, she has won two Grand Press Photo awards for her long- term project Between the Blocks.
She is a grantee of the National Geographic Society’s Emergency Fund for Journalists ( project: Virus of fear )
Her book Zamalowane okna has been nominated for the Ryszard Kapuściński Award - international award, granted yearly for the best reportage book.
She graduated in Press Photography from the Institute of Journalism at the University of Warsaw, Polish School of Reportage.

Fotografka i autorka reportaży. Ukończyła Fotografię Prasową w Instytucie Dziennikarstwa Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego oraz Polską Szkołę Reportażu.
W centrum jej zainteresowań znajdują się kwestie społeczne. Laureatka m.in. Nagrody im. Krzysztofa Millera za odwagę patrzenia oraz Grand Press Photo za jej długoterminowy projekt Miedzy Blokami. W 2021 roku uzyskała grant National Geographic Society’s Emergency Fund for Journalists na realizację dokumentu fotograficznego pt. Wirus lęku.
Jej książka "Zamalowane okna" została nominowana do Nagrody im. Ryszarda Kapuścińskiego oraz Literackiej Nagrody Warmii i Mazur.
Współpracuje m.in. z The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Globe & Mail i wieloma innymi.
Pochodzi z Mazur, mieszka w Warszawie.
